How to transfer characters from Game boy Pokemon Saphire to NDS Pokemon Platinum?
First you have to get the National Dex, so you can unlock the Pal Park. Then you can only transfer 6 pokemon per day. You have to make sure that the pokemon that you want are in the PC boxes on Sapphire, cuz you can't transfer them from the party. And they can't know any HM moves, so take em to the move deleter in lilycove, then you can transfer them.
