Why do coloured drinks stain mugs but not glass ?
Why do coloured drinks stain mugs(made of ceramic materials) but not glass ?
Pardon my ignorance.
Ceramic is a porus material meaning it has tiny holes all over its surface that hold onto liquid, when the liquid drys you have your stain. Glass is not porus thus no stain.
